Let’s Be Prepared for Climate Change and Strengthen Our Resilience

This November (2026), Antalya will host the 31st Conference of the Parties (COP) international climate negotiations. Being held on the Mediterranean coast for the very first time, the Climate Change Conference of the Parties marks a critical turning point for the protection of coastal ecosystems, strengthening climate resilience, and shaping a sustainable future.

 

Through our project, launching in May, we aim to build a strong bridge between the global climate agenda and local action by bringing together civil society organizations, local stakeholders, and coastal communities operating along the coasts of Muğla and Antalya.

 

Starting in Bodrum, our project will conclude in Antalya through workshops, podcasts, various public events, and advocacy gatherings — creating a lasting sphere of impact that extends from the local to the global.
