Who We Are
We are a group of experts in the field of climate change and sustainable development dedicated to live in a carbon neutral and climate resilient world in our lifetime.
We are here to help you gain essential knowledge about the climate crisis, understand different sustainable solutions and to learn the skills to take action.
Our Story
We founded Climate Academy Global in 2021 together with a group of committed scholars and practitioners working towards the common goal of tackling the climate crisis.
As the founders and managers of the Academy, we each have years of solid experience in the climate space. Most of us are Turks working in Europe, the Balkans, the Black Sea, Mediterranean Basin and the MENA region. The climate space in which we have spent decades includes our national and international colleagues and partners.
We joined forces to widen this space, to increase partnerships and joint efforts in our transformation towards a sustainable future.

We imagine a world in which our children live in well adapted, resilient societies that have transformed to zero-carbon economies. We strive to live in societies where the impacts of climate change are well understood, discussed, strategized and acted upon to enable this transformation.
Our mission is to create a learning and sharing environment to equip participants with the knowledge and skill sets in order to enable real change required for mitigation and adaptation. We are committed to the development of climate policies in our region and turning them into action.
